Small bee honey/ Little bee/ Dwarf honey is produced by Apis florea bees. These bees are relatively smaller in size compared to the rock bees. Their small size helps them to gather nectar from all smallest medicinal flowers. The Smaal bees build their hives on small branches (hence Known as Kombu Honey in Tamil), inside tree trunks or stone wall cavities.
